Dr. Amolkumar Achlerkar is a highly skilled and compassionate Pulmonologist and Bronchoscopist, currently serving as a Consultant Chest Physician in Navi Mumbai. He completed his MBBS from Terna Medical College, Nerul, followed by a Diploma in Tuberculosis and Chest Diseases and holds a prestigious Fellowship from the American College of Chest Physicians (FCCP, USA).
With over eight years of extensive experience in critical care and pulmonology, Dr. Achlerkar has been associated with renowned medical institutions such as Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation Hospital, SR Mehta Cardiac Institute and Fortis Hiranandani Hospital. His clinical expertise lies in interventional pulmonology, where he has successfully performed more than 1000 bronchoscopic procedures and over 100 medical thoracoscopies.
Dr. Achlerkar is also proficient in advanced ICU procedures, including central venous catheterization, arterial line placement and thoracocentesis, ensuring comprehensive care for critically ill patients. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he played a vital role in patient management and treatment, contributing to the care of over 10,000 patients.
